BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

OF

Dr. DENNIS E. FOUNTAIN



Saved at the age of five (5) in Riverside, California, under the preaching of his grandfather, Dr. Dennis Brown at Riverside Baptist Temple.

Surrendered to preach at Hume Lake Christian Camp at the age of 12.

After one year of police training in Riverside, California, entered Baptist Bible College (B.B.C.) in Springfield, MO.

Graduated from B.B.C. in Springfield in 1971.

Served as youth director in California and Washington until 1974.

1974 - 1979 Founder and Pastor of King Baptist Temple in Kent, Washington.

With 100 public professions of faith recorded at the altar during the beginning year - attendance reached 187 at the first anniversary service.

1979 - 1982 served as Associate Pastor to Dr. Greg Dixon at the Indianapolis Baptist Temple in Indianapolis, Indiana.

1982 - 1997 Co-Pastor and then Pastor of Greeley Baptist Temple, Greeley, CO. Helped start and still moderates the Annual Denver Home Missions Conference hosted at First Baptist Church of Englewood.

1997 to Present: Pastor of Lakewood Baptist Temple, Lakewood, WA.

Served as an Officer of the Western States Baptist Bible Fellowship (W.S.B.B.F) during the years of 1992 - 2000.

Served as State Fellowship Officer at various levels in Colorado.

Presently Serves as:

Executive Board of Directors – Heartland Baptist Bible College since 1992
(Formerly: Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College (P.C.B.B.C.))

Vice Moderator – Global Independent Baptist Fellowship (G.I.B.F.)

Advisory Board– Global Independent Baptist Missions

Family:

Wife: Judy from Indianapolis, Indiana.
(They will be married 35 Years this June 2005)

They Have 4 Children:

Dawn Zeik (Husband: Jim – Pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, Spokane, WA.  They Have 5 Children. (4 Boys and 1 Girl)

Dena Ensley (Husband: Chris – Live in Oregon.  They Have 3 Daughters)

Dennis (Wife: Hannah.  Both are Graduating from Heartland Baptist Bible College In May 2005, Seeking God's Will For Their Lives.)

Dustin Jordon – Went Home To Be With The Lord, October 4, 1989.
He Died Of S.I.D.S. (Crib Death – He Was 5 Months Old.).
